Southwire acquires Topaz Lighting Corporation

At Southwire, it is our continual pursuit to ensure that our products and solutions meet the needs of the critical markets and industries you support. To expand our product offering and better serve our customers, we are pleased to announce our acquisition of Topaz Lighting Corporation. (Topaz), a leading provider of quality electrical fittings, components, and lighting products.

Topaz, headquartered in Medford, N.Y., has been serving the Construction/Industrial/OEM markets for more than 35 years. Adding Topaz’s extensive offering has bolstered the Southwire portfolio, as we now offer an enhanced line of electrical components including electrical fittings, boxes & covers, weatherproof & vapor proof and temporary lighting. Along with an enhanced line of electrical components, we now offer a full range of commercial/industrial lighting products including LED indoor/outdoor luminaires, LED lamps, traditional lighting and exit and emergency lighting.

For customers who were already purchasing products from Topaz, this acquisition will not result in a change in who and how you are making payments currently.
