Ouellet’s OTP-C series of heat pumps are on the approved product list for the Canada Greener Homes Grants, meaning that homeowners can receive rebates of $2,500 for 2-head systems, or $5,000 for 3+ head systems. Traditionally, the efficiency and flexibility of these systems have been offset by up-front capital costs, so there has never been a better time for homeowners to invest in an upgrade. Ouellet NEW product - OVC series to replace OVN
Ouellet has announced today that they will no longer be manufacturing the OVN series due to a lack of raw materials being available for the manufacturing process. The OVC series will replace the OVN series but spare parts have been set aside for the retiring series that will last anywhere from 10 to 15 years. The OVC will be ready for delivery by mid to late September.

Ouellet Heat Pumps (Mini-Splits)
Heat pumps use the principle of thermodynamics to transfer heat from one place to another. In winter they extract heat energy from the outside air and transfer it inside. The same happens in the summer, but in reverse: they extract heat from inside and transfer it outside. Heat pumps are therefore more efficient than traditional electric heating systems that use electrical resistance to generate heat. A high-performance heat pump system produces about four times more heat than a resistive system for the same energy consumption, as well as offering the comfort of air conditioning during hotter weather.
